Well, I’ve just completed the Affiloblueprint Internet marketing course.  With the plethora of courses and “formulas” available on the Internet today, from this “guru” and that “guru” it is nothing less than bewildering to try and find something that is believable AND that works.

Affiloblueprint Review:What is AffiloBlueprint?

It is an internet marketing training affiliate program devised by Kiwi  Super-Affiliate Mark Ling.  AffiloBlueprint is a complete formula for creating successful affiliate sites.  When Mark first released the course in 2009, he actually used this formula to create a site live in front of an audience and this site has since produced over $500 per week in profits.  He uses the same methods in Affiloblueprint, but in a more in-depth format.

The “formula” is that you create a site over a twelve week period (the lessons are broken down to cover approximately twelve weeks) and get it to a point where you are making $50 a week from it.  You then are advised to create other sites and replicate the whole process.  You then are advised to re-invest in your business in the form of good content and SEO (Search Engine Optimization for the dummies!) campaigns and, Ling says, you should very quickly be making thousands of dollars a week.  Is this all believable?  Well, I’m leery of a lot of web offers, but this has some merit to it.  It is obvious he has succeeded following his own methods and I think it is commendable that he is willing to let newbies and other not-so-newbies actually view some of his own sites and, more or less, look over his shoulder as he builds a site.

AffiloBlueprint is a 12 week program with 55 video lessons.   You start off finding out how to get yourself a niche that is profitable, market research, choosing keywords, creating content, building a website, search-engine-optimization, making newsletters for your site, analytics and troubleshooting (the troubleshooting lesson is brilliant!), and PPC or pay per click. So it is quite comprehensive.

Points that stood out: you are advised go for products that pay decent commissions.  This may sound obvious, but in the last I.M course I was told to “blog about my passion”.  I don’t think-unless your passion is Weight Loss or Internet Marketing-that that is good advice.  But that was what we were told!  And, although I think it was mentioned (once-and then only in their forum) that products like Amazon pay you a pittance to sell, I was never directed firmly in the direction of other products that do give you decent commissions e.g Clickbank.  What I am passionate about does not necessarily translate into big $$$ on the internet (at least, not so far).  Conversely, many products and niches that Ling and other Super affiliates sell in the squillions I find unutterably boring (e.g weight loss;World of Warcraft).  As a result I made pennies after months and months of trying to grasp all the new information and set up new sites in WordPress etc.  (By the way, another plus for Affioblueprint is the customized WordPress theme they have developed for you.  It makes it easy to customize and create your page for your new site.)

Also it is clear Mark Ling derives a lot of his success from outsourcing and you can get some good tips on doing that as well.  That, as well as the advice on PPC campaigns -which was a grey area to me- as well as link-building, were useful points for me.

If other “guru” products are a bit pricey for you,  I would highly recommend you  buy AffiloBlueprint if you are wanting to master a good basic repeatable formula to be successful in Internet Marketing.  I don’t see I.M and affiliate marketing getting any easier with all the competition out there and this will give you good training if you are a newbie., and give you a well-rounded  picture of affiliate marketing. You will learn about keyword research, building the websites, and optimizing the websites.

Also, there is a forum with friendly people ready to help you if you have problems. what is FANTASTIC is -if you complete the 12 week course and elect to stop paying as a Premium or Affiloblueprint member Mark STILL lets you have access to the forum and to the training materials/updates of Affilobleprint. Many other affiliates do cut you off once you stop paying, trust me!

I’m a newbie at affiliate marketing too, and  I have one Affiloblueprint site up as well as some other ones that I created after doing the other I.M course I mentioned.  I recently realised I have achieved 300% growth in my sales, having achieved my first “decent” sale on the AB (Mark Ling) site. The sales are more than my earnings from all the other bitty sites I had previously put up following another “guru”. No, I have not made $50 per week, which does indicate to me that there is a whole lot more work to be done-but I’m getting there!. When it comes to Affiliate online programs and the associated work in building sites, I think you can safely say all the “gurus” over-represent their success, and understate the cost.  I don’t believe you can achieve the results that are spoken of unless you are willing to :

a)put the TIME in (and frankly I have not been prepared at this stage to give all my time to this new endeavor, as I have a lot of other commitments and want to have a LIFE outside of I.M!)

b) find a NICHE you can profitably compete in and have some interest in;

c)follow Mark’s LESSONS closely.

And I would say don’t believe any  “guru”-Mark Ling included- if they tell you it’s an easy thing to do (I’m not sure if he has said that anywhere, but if he has it isn’t true!)  But the traffic to my site (s) IS DEFINITELY GROWING, and I must say I feel much more confident now that I will get more sales in the near future.

Conclusion: if you are considering dipping your toes into affiliate marketing OR you are somebody who has been doing this for a while, but have not seen great results yet, then I would say AffiloBlueprint is a good bet  if you want to make money online.  Are you passionate about Internet marketing? I’m not! I’m interested only in how it can help me achieve my wider goals.   You might be the same.  But to succeed you need to have commitment and you need to find someone who DOES have passion for it-and knowledge.  And Mark Ling has-so you have the choice of plodding on by yourself and making mistakes and trying to learn from them, or follow in the shoes of someone else who IS successful and has put his passion and effort into an understandable and achievable proven program.
